NutriFeed Solution

NutriFeed produces novel, culturally-acceptable poultry feeds that is: a) low-cost: 52% lesser than existing feeds solution. b) waste-recycling: made from readily-available but unexploited environmental resources & agricultural waste such as mango seed kernels; elephant grass; unused vegetable waste etc. NutriFeed operates a community-based and self-supportive model where we engage local youths and women in the collection of raw materials. Besides, we select, train and empower and deprived unemployed women for supplying and selling our farms’ products within their own communities.

How we work:

NutriFeed trains local women and youth, with the cooperation of BRAC, for the collection of fruit kernel, peel and unused vegetable waste. We collect the reusable vegetable waste, fruit kernel and peel with the help of local youth and women from the point of production (industrial and commercial). Our production team remains in the field for the convenience of the raw material collection. The collected garbage is transported to the plant located in Savar, Dhaka with our own demountable truck. Then feed is produced with the locally produced sophisticated technology. Then the final product is transferred to the warehouse. Local youth and women collect purchase order from the poultry farmers. According to the purchase order, we sell feed to the customers just in time through the strong distribution channel.

For this, we use three-tiered distribution channel:

a) Department of Agricultural Extension
b) Local unemployed youth and women and
c) District wise poultry feed suppliers

We consistently contact with the local youth and women for the optimum quality of raw materials.
